On Thursday 22nd October the Workskil Youth Team attended REC to present and handover a canvas that was worked on during our RU OK? Day Celebration by our students. Great to see so many of our students embrace the meaning of RU OK? Day with their comments and work on the Canvas. Remember to continue to check in on each other and seek help and support if you need it.

Penny Harris’ Year 2 class have been travelling around the world this term learning about different ‘inventions’ of each country.
For their stop in Italy they learnt that Pizza was an ‘invention’ of the Italian people. They learnt that there are at least 176 pizza flavours!
The students each made a Pizza with their favourite toppings. (Notice the curly white and red onion, the shredded yellow cheese and even mushroom!). Very healthy.
One of the students who has an Italian heritage, taught the rest of the class how to say “Belissimo” (complete with hand gesture of course!)
